Western Community Bank was chartered in 1991 by a small group of local investors, all of whom reside in Utah County. We opened our doors at a time when large regional banks were aggressively acquiring community-based financial institutions. This environment provided an opportunity for Western Community Bank to enter the market place driven by a business philosophy of "relationship banking".

When we first opened, the bank's financial resources were predominately utilized in the northern Utah County communities closest to our office. We now have three full-service offices to serve the people, communities, and businesses of Utah County, and our website enables us to serve our customers around the world.

As our name indicates, we're a community bank. And unlike credit unions, community banks pay state and federal income taxes which directly benefit our quality of life and the success of our children by providing needed funding for local school districts. We have also established partnerships with several community-based non-profit organizations and contribute to their financial needs and community projects.
